Bath Camerata return once again to the glorious surroundings of Wells Cathedral for their 34th concert on Good Friday.

This year marks 150 years since the birth of Sergei Rachmaninoff. To commemorate this occassion, the programme will feature a number of works by the celebrated composer, including extracts from his iconic “All -Night Vigil” – the deeply moving Vespers of the Russian Orthodox tradition. There will also be music by Poulence, MacMillan, Mahler and Bortiniansky.

Admission is free of charge, with a retiring collection for ‘Music in Wells’.  No need to pre-book.  The performance runs for just over an hour and without an interval.
