Bath Camerata is thrilled to be performing this titan of the choral repertoire as part of the Bath Festival 2020. A work of profound emotional and philosophical depth, brimming with intense drama and rich Romantic beauty, Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem) is also an immensely personal reflection on grief and redemption, and Brahms’s own arrangement for piano duo encapsulates every ounce of the intimacy and detail of his score.
For this concert, the choir and its musical director Benjamin Goodson are joined by outstanding vocal soloists Elizabeth Cragg and Alex Otterburn, and the brilliant and masterful Piano 4 Hands.
Tickets: £16.50
